Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle your personal information when you use this website or our services.

Who we are

Saintbridge Pharmacy (“we”, “us”) is an Avender Partner NHS community pharmacy at Askwith Road, Saintbridge, Gloucester, GL4 4SH. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website. You can contact us on 01452 541541 or at info@avenderpharma.com.

What we collect

When you send a booking request or contact us, we may collect:

  • your name and contact details (phone, email, postcode);
  • the service you're interested in and your preferred appointment time;
  • limited information you choose to share, such as an age range, symptom duration, GP practice, accessibility needs and any notes;
  • your contact preference and consent choices.

Please do not send us sensitive clinical details through the website that you would not want recorded in an email. Detailed clinical information is best discussed in person or by phone.

How and why we use it

  • to respond to your enquiry and arrange or confirm an appointment;
  • to provide the pharmacy service you have requested;
  • to keep records we are required to keep as a pharmacy;
  • to protect your safety and signpost you to urgent care where needed.

Our lawful bases include your consent, the performance of a service you request, our legitimate interests in running the pharmacy, and — for health information — the provision of health care by a health professional.

Sharing your information

We only share information where necessary — for example with your GP or the wider NHS to support your care, or with trusted service providers who help us operate the website and send notifications. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep booking enquiry information only as long as necessary to deal with your request and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to access your information, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure hosting and encrypted connections. No online form should be used for urgent or emergency needs.
